Kelangsungan karier Jessica Mila tak lepas dari dukungan mendiang sang ayah, Bambang Sutejo, yang meninggal pada 3 Mei 2014, dalam usia 62 tahun.
"Papa sangat support karierku. Papa, apa pun yang aku lakukan, selalu support. Kuliahku, juga karierku, selalu support," tandasnya.
Dukungan serupa ditunjukkan ibunda Mila, M. Baker. Merasa tak ada teman di rumah, ia kerap menemani Mila di lokasi syuting.
"Daripada di rumah, katanya mending Mama menemaniku. Bukan aku yang minta, Mama sendiri yang mau. Aku malah kasihan, Mama capek. Tapi Mama keukeuh, katanya enggak capek. Dia bilang, kalau menungguku, kan bisa tidur di mobil," cerita Mila.
